Level 1 will cover an overview of the SAWW Training Program. OSHA regulations and requirements. Sessions on body mechanics, personal protective equipment, necessary tools, saws, tree felling, and limbing, bucking, and topping

What to Bring:

• Chaps and helmet (students may borrow instructors at no charge) 
• Proper footwear (ie steel-toe work boots) 
• Pack a lunch 
• If you have a chainsaw bring it, the instructor will lend you one if you do not own one
