The feminine Spirit, the Goddess, the Magna Mater, She who is the source of our creative, expressive, intuitive, receptive, and empathic side, the part that is connected to matter and spirit has somehow been lost. The Goddess, the feminine side of spirituality, is very rich, connected, sensual, receptive, wise, nurturing, and all embracing. She appears in all the world’s traditions: Mary, Shekinah, Isis, Brigit, Innana, Demeter, Freya, Kwan Yin, and by countless other names. Tonight, we will honor the Goddess, honoring both heaven and earth, embracing body and spirit, where we find and practice compassion, where we live from the heart that is joined with our soul. Reclaiming the goddess is a way of regaining our identity as human beings. Join us to once again meet the Goddess, reclaim our humanity and strengthen our personal connection to Her. A craft will commence during the class. All materials are provided.
