Maple Sugaring Family Program

Maple Sugaring Family Program

Saturday, March 8, 2025 (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM) (CST)

Description

Seno K/RLT Conservancy is thrilled to be hosting a maple sugaring program for a fifth year! Learn the traditions of maple sugaring that have been part of Wisconsin’s history for many centuries. This program focuses on the process of making maple syrup and the rich Native American history behind this tradition. Participants will learn tree identification, how to properly tap a maple tree, the process of sap-to-syrup, and the traditional sugaring techniques, ending with storytelling around a fire.

We charge a minimal fee for registration of $5 for children 13 and under and $7 for adults to help cover our equipment and material costs.

Please note this program requires pre-registration! Please register here.
