USA Cycling has announced that the Masters & Junior Road National Championships hosted by Tour of America's Dairyland will be held in the Greater Milwaukee area on June 28 - June 02 with the cyclist race starting in Lyons on Day 4, which is July 1st. 

The trek will be 9.4 miles with a 655 ft elevation gain. The route will begin in downtown Lyons heading south out of town to Spring Valley Rd, East to Walburg, West on Warren, South on Knob, West on Steele and North on South Rd back to Lyons.

They are currently looking for volunteers to work in the Lyons area the day of the race. There are three shifts available and there will be ample training. 

The organizers "would appreciate you spreading the word far and wide to help us make this day in Lyons on Tuesday, July 1st the fun day it should be, but also with everyone's safety in mind while being grateful to the greater community for inviting us to their home in beautiful Lyons!"
